Abstract

L'invention concerne les gyroscopes à laser. Un gyroscope interférométrique comporte une source de lumière 36 qui introduit dans un chemin optique 34 des faisceaux lumineux qui tournent dans des sens opposés. Les faisceaux lumineux qui sont extraits du chemin optique sont combinés avec un signal de référence qui est engendré par une source 50. Un détecteur de phase 61 determine la différence de phase entre les deux signaux combinés, pour indiquer la rotation du chemin optique autour de son axe sensible. Application aux systèmes de navigation par inertie.
