Abstract

La présente invention est du domaine des appareils de combustion et elle a pour objet un brûleur permettant de brûler des déchets ligneux tels que sciure ou copeaux, transportés dans un courant d'air. Selon l'invention, un brûleur est principalement caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une enceinte 18 dite chambre de pyrolyse pourvue d'une ouverture d'entrée 19 et d'une ouverture de sortie 20, des moyens de transfert tels qu'un tube massif 21 pour transférer une partie de la chaleur de combustion depuis la sortie 20 vers l'entrée 19 et des moyens, constitués par le tube 21 lui-même pourvu de perforations radiales 23, pour ralentir la progression desdits déchets ligneux dans ladite chambre. L'invention est applicable à la récupération des déchets ligneux et à leur transformation en énergie calorifique.
