Abstract

L'invention a trait à un four à fente pour chauffer de l'acier à des températures de forgeage. Le four proposé est de structure adaptée à fonctionner de façon rentable et économique par énergie électrique. Le plafond fait saillie vers le bas dans sa partie située au-dessus du foyer, pour faciliter le rayonnement et les pertes de chaleur par conduction et convection sont minimisées. Application : forgeage de l'acier.
