Abstract

L'invention concerne la mesure de la durée d'impulsions. Le dispositif de l'invention utilise deux oscillateurs à quartz 10, 12 ayant des fréquences très proches l'une de l'autre pour mesurer la durée d'impulsions inconnues, par le principe du vernier. Ceci permet de mesurer la durée des impulsions inconnues avec une excellente résolution, sans avoir à utiliser un oscillateur d'horloge de fréquence très élevée. Application au matériel de localisation de défauts dans les câbles.
