Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode colorimétrique pour la détermination de l'activité de l'enzyme gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase dans un fluide biologique, ou l'on fait réagir catalytiquement l'enzyme dans le fluide avec un substrat d'un peptide synthétique de l'acide L-glutamique dans un milieu aqueux pour donner un produit de scission pouvant être diazoté, du peptide, et le produit de scission est diazoté et on le fait réagir avec un composé de couplage pour produire un colorant dont l'intensité de couleur est proportionnelle à l'activité de l'enzyme. Selon l'invention, on emploie comme substrat, un sel soluble dans l'eau d'un composé choisi dans le groupe consistant en L-gamma-glutamyl-3-sulfoanilide et L-gamma-glutamyl-4-sulfoanilide. L'invention s'applique notamment aux diagnostiques cliniques.
