Abstract

L'invention concerne un mélange réfractaire en particules pouvant être mélangé avec de l'eau de façon à former un produit réfractaire pouvant être coulé et ayant une résistance à la corrosion améliorée vis-à-vis de l'aluminium fondu. Le mélange comprend essentiellement 90 à 94 % de matériau réfractaire et 6 à 10 % d'un produit fritté de borosilicate de zinc comprenant essentiellement de l'oxyde de zinc, de l'oxyde de bore, de l'oxyde de silicium et 0 à 10 % en poids d'oxyde d'aluminium, le produit fritté contenant moins de 0,5 % en poids d'impuretés et le matériau réfractaire ne contenant pas plus de 1,0 % d'impuretés. La figure 4 est une reproduction d'un spécimen d'essai de corrosion utilisant le produit réfractaire précédent
