Abstract
A total current transformer like those used as circuit breaker elements protecting against current default conditions, has a cylindrical core (9). Core (9) is provided with several beam type conductors (1) which are looped through the central part of the core. Each of the conductors (1) is individually insulated by a coating of varnish. Input and output conductors (7) ending in termini (2) to (5) supply the core windings (6). The whole is set in a protective housing.
