Plateau porte-pièce à avance automatique. Un piston annulaire 3 commande une couronne crantée 10 qui en s'abaissant bloque le rebord intérieur 23 de la jupe 22c du plateau 22. 3 est immobilisé angulairement par les colonnettes 12 qui traversent la bride 2 fixée à l'embase 3. Il commande par 18 une autre couronne 33 qui s'encrabote avec le pignon 29 pour entraîner 22 en rotation de l'angle prévu. 29 est commandé par une crémaillère 30 formant piston dans son guide. Lors de la rotation de 22, de l'air comprimé est envoyé entre la bride 2 et le rebord 23 pour maintenir 22 sur coussin d'air. Application aux machines-outils.
