Abstract

The motors are intended for domestic appliances such as coffee grinders etc. The commutator has a disc-shaped insulating supporting element put on the motor shaft, on which commutator segments are mounted in radial recesses. Carbon brushes slide on them, and rotor winding ends are connected to them. The disc commutator (16) is produced by stamping out from an insulating plate with a conducting layer on one side, with the segments produced by etching.
