Abstract

Appareil électrique de coupure, notamment un disjoncteur, à auto-soufflage de l'arc électrique de coupure par un gaz, du type comportant une chambre d'extinction remplie d'un gaz isolant et subdivisée par une cloison isolante de séparation en une chambre de détente et en une chambre de compression. Il comprend en outre une deuxième cloison isolante de séparation 30, qui est également pourvue d'un trou central 31 dans lequel peut coulisser la tige de contact mobile 14, et qui est espacée axialement de la première cloison 5 dans la direction d'ouverture de la tige de contact mobile 14, et des moyens 33, 34 permettant de faire varier le volume de la chambre de compression 6 en fonction de l'intensité du courant à couper sont associés à la première cloison 5.
