Abstract

Moteur à combustion interne et piston pour un tel moteur. La face supérieure du piston 14 est surmontée par un chapeau 20 relié audit piston 14, par l'intermédiaire d'une tige 17. Le diamètre du chapeau 20 est inférieur à celui du cylindre 10. La chambre de combustion est ainsi séparée en une chambre à volume variable 38 et une chambre à volume constant 16. L'allumage des gaz dans la chambre 38 provoque une compression par choc des gaz dans la chambre 16 et assure une combustion complète. Application : moteurs à piston, à mouvement alternatif ou circulaire, moteurs Diesel.
