Abstract

Traitement et manutention de laitier métallurgique comprenant une phase de désintégration par chocs mécaniques sur un tambour 20 et une phase de refroidissement des particules projetées par le tambour 20. Les particules sont recueillies sur une bande perforée 10 effectuant simultanément l'évacuation et le conditionnement des particules solidifiées et l'égouttage de l'eau dans une enceinte isolante fermée 32 dans laquelle on recueille également les sous-produits ascendants gazeux et solides. Application à la fabrication de sable de laitier, de laitier expansé ou de la laine minérale.
