Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux silencieux pour gaz d'échappement de moteur thermique. Ce silencieux comporte, dans un corps tubulaire 1 en deux coquilles, une conduite centrale longitudinale 28 qui relie une chambre d'entrée 16 à une chambre de sortie 17 et qui est munie de moyens de communication 43, 44, avec des compartiments 36 à 40 disposés en succession longitudinale autour de la conduite et comprenant un matériau absorbant. Ce silencieux, efficace et simple, s'adaptant facilement à des moteurs de puissances différentes.
