Abstract

Fil fausse-torsion et procédé de fabrication d'un tel fil. Le fil fausse-torsion selon la présente invention est constitué de filaments composites à structure du type << îles-dans-une-mer >> formés d'un composant mer à point de fusion relativement faible et de plusieurs composants îles à point de fusion plus élevé qui sont soumis à une fausse-torsion à une température Q telle que : P + 10 <= Q < R (P étant le point de fusion du composant mer et R celui des composants îles) pour obtenir un fil fausse torsion. La configuration de section des filaments composites dans son ensemble subit une déformation mais la configuration de section de chacun des composants îles ne subit pas sensiblement de déformation Application à un fil fausse-torsion permettant d'obtenir des produits tissés ou tricotés ayant une voluminosité, un toucher et un brillant excellents.
