Abstract

Cet appareil à dessiner comprend un rail 4 sur lequel circule le chariot 5 portant la tête 12 de l'appareil à dessiner. Ce chariot peut être bloqué en tous points de la longueur du rail par un frein comprenant des mâchoires 19a et 19b; l'une des mâchoires est porté par un levier en T 17 articulé sur le chariot en 22 et qui est appuyé par un tourillon 23 contre un levier 18 portant la deuxième mâchoire 19b, symétrique de la mâchoire 19a par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du chariot. Le levier 18 porte à son autre extrémité la surface 24 qui est attaquée par le levier 16 de commande du frein. Le rapport des distances séparant respectivement les mâchoires 19a et 19b d'une paral-lèle à l'axe longitudinal du chariot passant par l'articulation 23 des deux leviers 17 et 18 est calculé de manière que la commande du frein ne développe pas de poussée dans la direction de roulement du chariot. Un ressort de rappel 28, divisé en deux parties égales par un téton central 28a attire les deux mâchoires vers le centre avec des forces égales.
