Abstract
La présente invention concerne des électrodes de nickel contenant une matière active tassée contenant au moins un berthollide tel que CoOx et NiOx avec x compris entre 1,5 et 2 environ. Le procédé selon l'invention est essentiellement caractérisé en ce que ces berthollides sont préparés par cooxydation chimique de sels de cobalt et de nickel dans un milieu alcalin, suivie d'une précipitation en milieu alcalin d'un mélange de NiO x et CoO x contenant un dérivé du lithium. Ce mélange, lui-même associé à un liant, est comprimé dans les trous d'un collecteur en nickel perforé. La matière active ainsi préparée permet d'augmenter la capacité pratique, en ampères-heures, des éléments réalisés selon l'invention.
