Abstract

Cette tête magnétique utilisée en contact glissant avec un support d'enregistrement magnétique présente une forte résistance à l'usure et une bonne aptitude à l'usinage, notamment par meulage. Une partie au moins de la surface qui, dans un noyau 5 constituant une tête magnétique ou dans une enveloppe de blindage 8 qui loge ce noyau, doit être mise en contact avec le support d'enregistrement magnétique, est soumise à un traitement de boration pour former une couche borée 9.
