Abstract

The irrigation system provides a low deposition rate using high output spray producers. The spray producers are all supplies by the same source of water and each irrigates its own area in turn for a successively-repeated time lasting between 15 and 30 minutes, using a programmer controlling automatic water valves (A, B, C). The programmer is driven by a mechanical, electrical or water-driven motor, and opens one valve simultaneously with the closing of a preceding valve. The time between each opening may be unequally adjusted. The spray producers may be arranged transversely to the water supply line, or on the water supply line, or independently.
