Abstract

Dispositif de freinage destiné à réduire la vitesse de chute d'un récipient de transport de produits lourds en cas de défaillance d'un convoyeur pendant son transfert vertical. Un dispositif de freinage 5 qui est disposé à une distance variable a au-dessous du récipient de transport 3 et qui est guidé sur des glissières 6 en devant surmonter une certaine résistance de frottement est relié au récipient 3 de manière à faire entrer en action des sabots de freins 15 en cas de chute brutale au cours de laquelle ce récipient va buter contre la plate-forme 5 en faisant pivoter les tringlages 35. Application en particulier au transport des éléments combustibles usés dans les centrales nucléaires.
