Abstract

A combined single-track and double track conveyor system comprises an upper, chain track (2) from which loads (14) can be suspended via pusher elements (6) and suspension fittings (4), and a lower load track (3) with carriages (5) movable along it by being coupled to pusher elements (6) on the chain track which do not carry suspension fittings (4). The latter can pass between the track halves of the load track. Quick- release devices (7, 8 and 15, 16) ensure ready coupling and uncoupling between the pusher elements (6) and the suspension fittings (4) or carriages (5) respectively. <IMAGE>
