Des médicaments alcalins sont protégés efficacement d'une altération microbienne par l'addition d'une association d'huiles essentielles à une concentration de 0,005 à 1 % et d'éthanol à une concentration de 1 à 10 %. Application à la conservation de préparations médicinales liquides à pH alcalin, destinées à être administrés par voie orale.
