Abstract

PURPOSE:To save space for mounting on a vehicle and to improve operability by performing switching to the screen of a switch which corresponds to the operation item of a car-mounted equipment when the switch shows the kind of the car-mounted equipment provided on the screen of car-mounted equipment display is operated. CONSTITUTION:Display parts 10a-10d having the kinds of car-mounted equipments and operation items printed in respective frames of a transparent endless film 10 are driven, frame by frame, by a motor 16. On the reverse side of the film where the display part 10a is positioned, a switch panel 18 having switch operation places is provided and when one display part of the film 10 is depressed, a switch corresponding to it is depressed to input a signal to an encoder circuit 38. The circuit 38 encodes and sends the input signal to a decoder 42, and through a switching-display-part detecting circuit 46 and a selecting circuit 48, the motor 16 is driven to rotate the film 10, performing switching to the screen of an operation item in accordance with the depressed switch. When a switch corresponds to the operation item of the switched screen is depressed, an operation command signal switch corresponds to the switch is outputted to operate a car-mounted equipment through a driving circuit 44.
