Abstract

Procédé conduisant essentiellement à une cétone monohalogénée avec un rendement élevé. Il consiste à halogéner une cétone dihydrogénée en alpha entre 0 et 50 degrés C en présence d'un acide de Lewis ou d'un acide minéral servant de catalyseur en même temps que d'1 à 20 parties d'alcool aliphatique en C1 à C8 par partie de la cétone pour permettre de recueillir une cétone halogénée en alpha pratiquement exempte de cétone polyhalogénée en alpha . Application à la preparation de l'acétophénone bromée en alpha .
