Abstract

L'invention concerne un séchoir à chambre de séchage séparée à chauffage indirect comprenant au moins deux chambres de séchage. Le séchoir est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des premiers moyens échangeurs de chaleur communiquant avec une premiere chambre de séchage de température plus élevée, alimentés par l'air chaud humide non saturé de vapeur d'eau contenue à l'intérieur de la première chambre, lesdits moyens échangeurs étant prévus pour baisser la température de l'air chaud humide du moins jusqu'à la saturation de vapeur d'eau de ce dernier, des deuxièmes moyens échangeurs de chaleur, situés à l'intérieur d'une deuxième chambre de séchage, placés en série avec lesdits premiers moyens échangeurs de chaleur et alimentés par l'air chaud saturé de vapeur d'eau issu des premiers moyens échangeurs, les deuxièmes moyens échangeurs étant pourvus de moyens pour l'évacuation de la vapeur d'eau condensée en eux et débouchant dans la première chambre de séchage.
