Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie de la galvanoplastie. Procédé d'extraction électrochimique de nickel d'un électrolyte contenant du chlorure de nickel et un composé soufré comme un sulfate de métal alcalin, dans une cellule comprenant une ou plusieurs anodes insolubles entourées de diaphragmes perméables aux ions qui séparent l'anolyte et une ou plusieurs cathodes entourées de diaphragmes perméables aux ions qui séparent le catholyte du reste de l'électrolyte compris entre les diaphragmes un courant d'électrolyte étant maintenu dans la cellule par introduction d'électrolyte frais dans le catholyte et évacuation d'électrolyte usé du reste d'électrolyte contenu dans la cellule. Application à l'obtention de nickel électrochimiquement actif, contenant du soufre.
