Abstract

Procédé de production de polymélanges et nouveaux produits ainsi obtenus. Ce procédé de polymérisation en masse de solutions comprenant des monomères monoalkénylaromatiques et éventuellement des monoalkénylnitriles monomères, renfermant un caoutchouc diénique à l'état dissous, consiste à dissoudre une quantité peu importante d'un composé mono-oléfinique aliphatique dans la solution à polymériser en masse, ce composé oléfinique formant avec le monomère monoalkénylaromatique des radicaux libres qui sont plus actifs que les radicaux libres monoalkénylaromatiques pour le greffage du caoutchouc La présente invention est particulièrement utile pour fournir des polymélanges renfermant une phase caoutchouteuse greffée importante.
