Abstract

Procédé pour éliminer l'énergie thermique d'un mélange aqueux de sulfate de sodium et du sel de sodium d'un acide organique sulfurique ou sulfonique. Ce procédé comporte les étapes suivantes : a. Réaction de l'acide organique sulfurique ou sulfonique et d'un excès de l'agent de sulfatation avec un composant alcalin et formation d'une solution sursaturée en sulfate de sodium; et b. Refroidissement de la masse réactionnelle formée à l'étape a dans un échangeur de chaleur tout en maintenant le liquide de refroidissement de l'échangeur de chaleur à une température inférieure à la température à laquelle le sulfate de sodium anhydre se forme. Réduction de dépôt de sulfate de sodium sur les surfaces d'un échangeur de chaleur.
