Abstract

Dans ce procédé de fabrication d'acier, on charge en continu dans un four à arc 14 un mélange ternaire de matières particulaires contenant du fer à haute et à faible teneur de carbone, avec des déchets fragmentés, avec un débit qui est fonction des réactions énergétiques chimiques et électriques dans le four. De préférence on charge le mélange ternaire pendant seulement une partie du cycle de la fabrication de l'acier, c'est-à-dire après une période de chargement continu de fer particulaire qui succède elle-même à une fournée classique de chargement de déchets.
