Abstract

L'invention concerne des outillages pour manipuler, sur un fond sous-marin, des joints élastiques. Pour manipuler de tels joints 11, normalement fixés entre deux extrémités des tuyauteries et soumis à une compression axiale, on prévoit un caisson 20, 33 muni de moyens pour l'amener aisément au fond des eaux, ce caisson permettant le déplacement d'un chariot 23 muni de pinces 34 propres à venir serrer le joint 11, certaines de ces pinces étant manipulées à l'aide de vérins 40. Les pinces 34 comportent d'autres vérins permettant d'exercer une compression axiale supplémentaire sur le joint 11, pour assurer une extraction Pendant l'extraction, le tout est maintenu accroché sur des entretoises 16 par d'autres pinces 46 commandées en 47.
