Abstract

L'invention est relative à un siège réglable en hauteur dont la partie siège est montée sur un support réglable par basculement dans un flan vertical à l'aide de deux engrenages curvilignes dont l'un forme un engrenage d'entrée. Selon l'invention, l'engrnage d'entrée porte une denture curviligne excentrée par rapport l'axe de rotation du mouvement d'entrée, tandis que l'autre engrenage curviligne porte une denture curviligne convenablement adaptée, les dentures étant agencées de telle manière que l'engrenage d'entrée attaque l'autre engrenage avec un petit bras de levier lorsque le support occupe une position angulaire dans laquelle ses deus articulations de liaison se trouvent dans un même plan horizontal tandis qu'il attaque cet autre engrenage avec un bras de levier de plus en plus grand au fur et à mesure de l'accroissement de l'inclinaison du support sur l'horizontale. Le siège est utilisable dans les véhicules automobiles.
