Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine à engendrer des surfaces sphériques ou asphériques sur des pièces. Ladite machine, qui peut être un tour comporte la broche usuelle supportant la pièce de manière qu'elle tourne autour de son axe et un chariot pour supporter un outil de façon qu'il oscille autour d'un pivot pour entrer en contact avec la surface de la pièce. Le chariot comporte un dispositif supportant l'outil de coupe pour qu'il effectue un mouvement flottant et pour le pousser au contact de la surface de la pièce Un dispositif supporte une came indépendamment du chariot pour permettre un réglage dans le sens de l'axe de rotation de la pièce ou perpendiculairement à ce dernier ou dans les deux directions. Application à l'usinage de surfaces sphériques ou asphériques notamment sur des ébauches de lentilles de contact
