Abstract

The copying lathe comprises a feeler assembly(15, 16) whose feeler(15) moves along a master pattern(19), and means to transmit the feeler movements to the cutting tool(11) holder(10). The assembly comprises a first element(6) containing a member(9) which holds the feeler and, at an angle to this member, a member(8) carrying the cutting tool. At the crossing of the members there is a bore(7) with internal screw thread. The second element(5) is a frame carrying the first element and a screw spindle(12) fitting in the bore(7).
