Abstract

Procédé pour fabriquer par laminage d'un fil de Section circulaire, en acier au carbone, un ruban à chants arrondis destiné à des armatures de pneumatiques. Selon l'invention, on chauffe le fil entrant dans le laminoir à une température supérieure à celle du point de transformation AC 3 de l'acier utilisé, le chauffage et le laminage étant conduits dans une atmosphère neutre vis-à-vis des éléments constitutifs de l'acier. Fabrication de rubans d'acier pour armer des pneumatiques pour roues de véhicule.
