Abstract
A convector heater with a fixed heating element (1) arranged horizontally at the bottom of ducts (2) which convey the hot air upwards has the humidifying system arranged to be formed by the ducts themselves. The ducts form water reservoirs and holes (4, 5) at the top allow the water vapour to escape and can form refilling openings at the same time. Other designs include a porous vessel housed inside the duct connected by a horizontal tube at the bottom to a vertical water container so that the level is maintained by adding water to the container. The container may be provided with devices to admit the water at a controlled rate.
