Abstract

A blank made of e.g. cardboard, intended to be inserted up its interiorm has a minimum number of vertical creases to form fold lines and a minimum number of slits to form auxiliary shallow compartments. For three bottles there are only two vertical fold lines and two horizontal slits, these slits being only half the total length. The folds give a compartment for one bottle, next to a double compartment. This double compartment incorporates a further divider of reduced height by bending out the portion between the two slits. Further blanks using the same principal are shown for six bottle, nine bottle, twelve bottle and four bottle cases.
