Abstract

1493811 Wrap-around blanks DRG PACKAGING Ltd 31 Jan 1975 [20 Feb 1974] 7786/74 Heading B8C A blank for forming a wrap-around sleeve for packaging cylindrical containers comprises side panels 10, 12, a top panel 14, bottom forming panels 16, 18, container locating cut-outs 32 in a shoulder panel, such as 20, 22 or 24, which truncates a corner between a side and the top or bottom of the sleeve, and T-shaped container accommodating cuts 34 in the region of a fold line between the bottom panel 18 and the side panel 12. The blank includes three shoulder panels, each provided with container locating cut-outs 32. The bottom forming panels 16, 18 are secured to one another by tabs 26 engaging in openings produced by pressing out cutportions 28. The sleeve may contain one or two rows of containers.
