Abstract

The fertilizer distributing attachment is fitted to the three point fixing (3, 4, 5) of a tractor (1) and is equipped with a loading arm (40) for lifting full sacks (2) over the hopper (30) when filling. The hopper is rigidly fixed to a supporting frame (10) and is of robust construction to prevent damage if struck by a full sack. The loading arm is a U-shaped frame its legs (41, 42) pivoting (16) on the hopper supporting frame. It is provided with a lifting eye (43) and chain (45) for gripping the sack. The arm is raised and lowered by an hydraulic cylinder (44) each side of the hopper frame.
