Abstract

The metering device for the animal feedstuffs enables the feed to drop from the funnel (1) into tubes (2). the appliance is positioned high up and enables the required quantities of feedstuffs to be distributed by means of a cord (3) and spring (4). Pulling on the cord (3) enables an exact quantity to fall into the pipe (2) which is connected to an animal feeding trough. A stirring device (6) enables quantities of as small as 50g. of fine powdered material to be metered. A seal (5) ensures that none of the product is lost. the spring (4) operates a cylindrical piston.
