Abstract

A jet mill for grinds bulk material in countercurrent with itself, in which grinding injectors are installed opposite to one another directed in a grinding chamber connected to a separator having chambers for sepg. coarse and fine fractions in an intermediate product, with corresp. pipes for the transport of this product to an after grinding stage. At least one pair of disintegrating chambers are provided on opposite sides of the grinding chamber, each having built-in oppositely directed disintegrating injectors. The disintegrating chambers are connected to the grinding chamber so that their output pipes are connected to the inlet pipes of the grinding injectors, while these injectors are connected with the separator by means of the pipes connected to this for carrying the semi-finished product. Not only permits the larger pieces in the feed to be disintegrated and subsequently ground to fine material but has a lower specific consumption of energy-carrying fluid so that grinding costs can be reduced by 15-30%.
