Abstract

The freely moving armature of the relay forms its magnetic and electric bridging element. It rests against electric stationary contacts in at least one stable position. The armature consists of a magnetisable core (16) and an electrically conductive flexible sleeve (17), coupled to the core in positive and firm manner. The armature sleeve may consist of helically wound wire, and may be provided only on the core positions which cooperate with the stationary contacts (11, 12). Typically the sleeve may be provided at the ends of the core only, where it can protrude outwards.
