Abstract

The deep drawing press has a pressure exerting ram which carries at least one detachable deep drawing plunger and sheet metal holder which is connected at least to one pressure exerting piston. This press has compact depth and the sheet metal holder has high bending stiffness at low weight. The pressure exerting ram has at its free end a number of plugs of small diameter. These plugs pass through matching bores in the sheet metal holder and the plungers are connected to the drawing rams. This deep drawing press can be used for making sinks with two basins by means of two deep drawing tools attached to the ram.
