Abstract

The heating unit uses solar energy particularly to heat water and has a receiver cell transmitting the energy to a liquid leading to an exchanger. The exchanger (5) is linear and horizontal, and extends through the horizontal accumulator vessel in the bottom part for its entire length. The complete assembly is of monobloc construction. The accumulator is fully insulated by glass fibre (14) or other suitable material. The receiver cell (2) can be painted black for maximum heat absorption, and is insulated by glass fibre at the bottom.
