Abstract

Solar cell consists mainly of a feed tank, the cell and storage tank for the heated medium. The liquid going through the cell, which may be water, has an additive to make it impervious to sun energy. This could be soot, platinum black, copper sulphide, nickel sulphide, copper iron sulphide. A dispersant is also added. The absorption medium is separated from the fluid after it has left the cell. The reception of sun rays is either by reflection or absorbtion principle. The surface of the cell is provided with a heat absorbing film.
