Abstract
The heat transfer liquid is heated by radiation falling on the unit, which is of shallow box shape, and through which the liquid flows and is subject to radiation in the process, the radiation striking a layer of absorbent material on a support. The layer (13') is inside the box, at least one of whose walls (10, 11) is transparent to the radiation. Both large walls are of heat-insulating material. An impact plate (13) can be accommodated inside the box, acting as the support for the absorbent layer.
