Abstract

The valve for use on a low pressure gas tank has a safety valve with a sealing disc spring biassed onto a valve seat. The spring bears on a hollow threaded plug which is provided with apertures, the plug being used to regulate the pressure at which the safety valve acts. The safety valve is mounted in an inclined bore in the body of the valve, the apertures in the threaded plug permitting the escape of gas through the safety valve.
