Abstract

The invention relates to an opening device for a tank of pressurised fluid used in particular in fire-fighting equipment, combining the functions of a cock and of a pressure-limiting valve. The device consists of a body 5 screwed onto the base 1 forming the seat 2 of the valve element 3 which is applied by the calibrated spring 7. A piston 9 secured to the valve element 3 includes the pyrotechnic pressure generator 12 the firing of which causes the opening of the valve element which is kept open by the locking rod 14.
