Abstract

The hinge for a dishwasher door includes a stop (14) which limits the angle of door opening, and a spring (6) assisting door closure. The hinge comprises a static plate (11) which is mounted on the appliance body (25), and a mobile folded plate (12). The stop may be in the form of a cantilever arm (14), extending to the rear of the mobile plate (12) and offset relative to the longitudinal axis of the hinge plate (12). A pocket (15) formed in the fixed plate and open towards the hinge pin (13) may be used to guide and check the cantilever arm (14).
