Abstract

The plunger pump is designed to lubricate reciprocating parts of a metal working machine. An oil delivery cylinder (13) is mounted within the housing (12) of the pressurized oil unit (1). The cylinder (13) is closed at one end by a threaded plug (14), while the other end is defined by the position of plunger (15) wherever that may be at any given moment. The working space (A) of the cylinder (13) is coupled to the lubrication container (3) and level indicator (4) via a channel (B). The space (A) can be coupled also to the pressurized oil lead (6) via a non-return valve (18) and channel (C). Channel (B) can be blocked by means of valve (23).
