Abstract

The radiator regulating valve has a valve housing (1) with an insert (2) in which a spindle (3) is mounted in rotatable but axially non-displaceable fashion. The spindle (3) is hexagonal at the lower end and engages in a regulating element (8) which is screwed into the insert (2). When the spindle (3) is rotated, the regulating element (8) moves axially. The stroke of the regulating element (8) can be limited by means of a presetting pin (13), which is arranged in the interior of the spindle (3) and can be adjusted axially by means of a screw (12). The presetting pin (13) is sealed off relative to the spindle (3) by a purely metallic surface-to-surface seal (14). This reduces the susceptibility of this seal to faults.
