Abstract

The Module for use in the construction of walls, partition- walls, floors and ceilings, is made of sheet-metal which has been galvanised or similarly treated. The module is a rectangular frame whose sides are U-shaped. On the faces forming the bottom of the U are circular holes which are used to form service ducts. Two of these modules can be joined together to form a caisson. In between the two frames is inserted a sound insulation panel and two more panels are attached to the outer faces of the caisson. A layer of heat insulating material such as fibreglass is placed between the sound insulation panel and the second outer panel.
